SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers' Kennedy Catholic is going to play fall baseball, according to a report.
Chuck Slater reported that Kennedy Catholic High School is switching from Section 1 to the Catholic League and will start its new schedule against Iona Prep on Sept. 13, according to the report.
"While Kennedy was a tad short of .500 last spring and has lost a few seniors, (coach Bob) Fletcher is confident of a better record," Slater said in the report. "(Junior first baseman Griffin) Dey is part of a strong nucleus which includes sophomore Alex Volpi (.370 as a freshman) and junior shortstop Gavin Garay (.385)."
