Credit Building Tops Somers Library Events For Adults In April

Mark your calendars for Credit Building and Repair Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. The presenter, Catherine Seale, First Niagara Bank, will provide a breakdown of the components to improve your score. 

The following programs are offered:

Decorating Your Home to Sell, Monday, April 18, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your questions and enjoy this fun and interactive discussion where you will learn the top ten tried-and-true do-it-yourself home staging tips, and what home buyers really want. Presenters: Susan Atwell and Denise Giordano.

Listen To Your Heart: From Fear to Courage, Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m.The journey from fear to courage need not be a long or arduous one, as you become empowered through clarity to what you want, having a plan, and support to take the steps to get there. Presenter: Diane Ingram, a professional certified coah.

Raising a Confident Child, Saturday, April 30, 10:30 a.m. Self-confidence is an essential ingredient for all aspects of your child's healthy development, and a key ingredient for school success. Learn strategies and discover ways to help you raise a confident child without creating an inflated ego and sense of entitlement. Presenter: Theresa Wienecke. 

Voice actor Alan Sklar will read two crime stories by Lawrence Block Saturday, April 20, 1 p.m. "How Far It Could Go" and "A Bad Night for Burglars."
