'Sight Unseen' Performed At Somers Library

SOMERS, N.Y. — “Sight Unseen,” a play by Donald Margulies, will be performed from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Presented by M&M Performing Arts Company, Inc., the play takes place at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers.

This production features M&M veteran Robin Joseph (“Time Stands Still,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Proof,” “Sylvia”); Steve Plaushin, last seen in “How I Learned to Drive” at the Greenville Community Theatre; P.J. Glazer, last seen in “Time Stands Still” for the Armonk Players; and Nadja Winter, who most recently appeared in the Fort Hill Players production of “Picasso at the Lapin Agile.”

The production is directed by Ed Friedman, who has staged productions such as, “I Never Sang for My Father Daughters,” “To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday,” “A Walk in the Woods,” “Round and Round the Garden,” and “Public Affairs.”

The story focuses on acclaimed artist Brooklyn-born Jonathan Waxman. The play unfolds exploring issues of identity, home, and the place of art in society.
