Monday, March 4

Writers Workshop: 1 p.m. Are you hoping to write a short story, memoir, blog, newspaper feature or even a book? Begin a two-month weekly session with Linda Spear to learn to develop your skills and strategies. All ages and all levels are welcome. The course concludes on April 29. It’s at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers.

Tuesday, March 5

Story Time on the Farm: 1 to 1:30 p.m. Join the Muscoot Farmers to hear stories about farm adventures. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, south of Route 35 in Somers.

Somers Board of Education Workshop: 7 p.m. The board holds its workshop meeting in the library of the Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202, Somers.

Wednesday, March 6

A Night for Charity: 5 p.m. Keller Williams Realty and Traditions 118 Restaurant join forces for the second time to raise money for a group of charity organizations, including Autism Speaks, CHOP Inc., Relay For Life and KW Cares. Keller Williams staff and agents will serve and all tips go to the charities. Bring cash or check for your charitable “tip.” Call (914) 248-7200 to make a reservation. Traditions 118 is on Old Tomahawk Street in Granite Springs.

Somers Energy and Environment Committee: 7 p.m. The committee meets at the Van Tassell Park Recreation Center, Route 139, Somers.

Furthering Fair & Affordable Housing: 7 p.m. A consortium of Northern Westchester towns and the Blue Mountain Development Corporation will sponsor a discussion of the HUD affordable housing settlement and what it means to local residents. Light refreshments will be served. It’s at the Bedford Town Court House, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills.

Thursday, March 7

"The Pajama Game": 7 p.m. Kennedy Catholic High School Players Club presents the Broadway musical in conjunction with its annual art show. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students. Additional performances take place on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. For tickets, call (914) 232-5061, ext. 226.

Somers Town Board Work Session: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board holds its monthly work session at the Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.

Schoolhouse Theater: 8 p.m. The newly renovated theater presents its debut performance of “Ten Unknowns” by John Robin Baitz (postponed from Feb. 28). The show will continue with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. The final performance is March 30. Tickets range from $33 to $35.
