Bedford Hills Nurse Earned More Than $630K In Overtime

BEDFORD, N.Y. – A registered nurse at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women brought home more than $630,000 in less than five years from overtime pay, according to LoHud.com.

Mercy Mathew, 62, of Pomona, worked 192 days straight, with the majority of hours put in during 16.5-hour overnight shifts. Mathew was New York state’s highest overtime earner in 2012, according to the report.
