Friday, June 15

Let’s Play it Forward Fundraiser: 6-10 p.m. Dine at The Burger Joint in Mount Kisco and a portion of your bill will be donated to Let's Play it Forward. Visit its website for more information. The Burger Joint is at 20 S. Moger Ave., Mount Kisco.

Summer Kids Art: Kids 5-12 are invited to register for the Summer Arts Program at the Putnam Arts Council in Mahopac. While the focus is on art, the program is designed to “unleash your child’s imagination, experiment with tons of quality materials and enjoy the creative process and experience.” Classes are taught by working artists and educators and are designed for all levels of ability. Saturday, June 16

Angle Fly Preserve Volunteer Day: 10 a.m. There is never an idle moment at Somers’ Angle Fly Preserve. All volunteers are welcome to come and make the preserve an even better place. Bring your own gloves and water and meet at the main entrance to the preserve on Primrose Street in Somers.

Northern Exposure Photography Club: 10 a.m. to noon. Andres Valenzuela will join the members to talk about his experiences as a professional photographer. The monthly meeting will be at Van Tassel House, 98 Primrose St., Somers.

Bloomsday Celebration at the Schoolhouse: 12:30-3 p.m. Join the worldwide celebration of Bloomsday, in honor of James Joyce’s “Ulysses,” set on June 16, 1904. The Schoolhouse Theater will present readings from the novel and a re-enactment of some of the scenes. Traditional Irish music, food and drink will be offered afterwards. Sunday, June 17

Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fresh produce, meats, cheese, soaps, candles, honey, maple syrup, flowers, fish and delicacies from local farmers and artisans will be available. The Muscoot Farmers Market will continue every Sunday through October. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, 1½ miles south of Route 35 in Somers.

Big Equipment Day at Muscoot: 1-3 p.m. Kids, dads, grandpas and all other interested parties are invited to climb aboard the old and new farm equipment at Muscoot Farm. Free. The farm is on Route 100, 1½ miles south of Route 35 in Somers.
