SOMERS, N.Y. - Dr. Domenic J. Gabriele, 100, of Somers, formerly of Harrison, died Friday, April 24.

He was born July 7, 1914, in the Bronx, to the late Quintino and Ninfa Gabriele.

Gabriele graduated from New York University and the Marquette School of Medicine.

He served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include three daughters, Lorna (James) Starkey of White Plains, Linda (Robert) Kenney of Sarasota, Fla., and Loretta (Peter) Melfi of Sicklerville, N.J.; two sons, Thomas (Evelyn) Gabriele of Harrison, and Fred (Julia) Gabriele of New Canaan, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

His wife, Lenore Gabriele; one brother, Alfred Gabriele; and one sister, Mary D'Alois, are deceased.

Calling hours will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Sunday at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah. A procession will leave from the funeral home to the services, which will be at noon at the Ivandell Cemetery, Route 202, Somers.
