Jefferson Valley Man Charged With Harassment Spit At Officer, Police Say

JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- Yorktown police charged a Jefferson Valley man with aggravated harassment on Monday, Oct. 6, officials said.

Officers were called to 3887 Wood St. on a welfare check when they encountered Vincent A. Lovallo, 58. During the investigation Lovallo allegedly became combative, spit in the face of one of the officers and used religious slurs, police said. 

Lovallo was arraigned and remanded to Westchester County Jail on $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Oct. 9, police said.
