Where once folks cringed at the thought of raw fish, now they crave it with Westchester County diners putting spicy salmon rolls and yellowtail scallion high on their list of “must haves.”

We asked – and you answered – giving us five of your favorite sushi restaurants. Grab your chopsticks and read below; each eatery is being profiled this week with the winner announced at the end of the month.

Tengda Asian Bistro, 286 Katonah Ave., (914) 232-3900.

What Makes It Good: The eatery covers the waterfront of Asian cuisine, from Japanese, Chinese and Thai to Malaysian and Vietnamese. The fish is of high quality with ingredients selected daily.

Diners Like: The Dynamite roll made with tuna topped with lightly spiced crab on top. Cocktails also get high marks: the Tibetan martini is made with vodka, coconut, and pineapple, and the Ginger martini, with vodka, ginger, and lychee liqueur.

Worth Special Mention: Received a Best Westchester County Restaurant in 2013 by UrbanSpoon and a rating of excellent from Zagat since 2006.
