Police responding to a report of shots fired on Fulton Avenue found Jason Dunbar, 35, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds around 11:45 p.m. Aug. 27, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Dunbar was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m., the following day, authorities said.

Darius Bolden, 33, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. last Tuesday on murder charges stemming from Dunbar's death, Suarez said.

Yasmin Tejada, 30, was charged that same day with hindering after it came to light she gave police false information during the investigation, Suarez said.

A court hearing for Bolden -- also charged with weapon possession -- was scheduled for Oct. 9.

Tejada was released on a summons.
