Fairfield Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography
A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly possessing child pornography following a months-long investigation. Dontrell Dayshawn Rodriguez, age 29, of Fairfield, was arrested on Wednesday, March 27. According to Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police, an investigation into Rodriguez began after the department received a tip from the State Police Computer Crimes Unit. Residents of several Connecticut towns weren't imagining that little shake and sway, it was a small earthquake. The small 1.08 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in New London County around 8:20 a.m., Thursday, March 28 in Ledyard. Woman Charged With Manslaughter In Overdose Death Of Greenwich Resident
A woman has been charged with manslaughter in the alleged overdose death of a Fairfield County resident. The death took place in Greenwich on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, according to Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police. When officers arrived at the home in the western section of town, they found the 40-year-old unidentified Greenwich man dead, Slusarz said. A worker who was critically injured and stuck 40 feet up a tree was rescued by members of a Fairfield County fire department. The incident occurred in Shelton around 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 26 on Meghan Court.
