Teen Stabbed During Group Fight At Charles County Mall During Carnival: Cops
Authorities have released details in a stabbing during a weekend carnival in Charles County. The 15-year-old boy was in a group of teens when they became involved in an argument with another group around 9:05 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the St. Charles Festival at St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf, the sheriff's office said. The boy approached officers working the event when they were approached by the teen. The incident happened in the lower lot of the parking lot of the mall, police said. The man who forced his way into the hotel room of an elderly woman in Montgomery County and sexually assaulted her has been sentenced to decades in prison, the state's attorney's office announced. A man will spend 35 years in prison for shooting his victim more than two dozen times after getting into an altercation with his son, the Charles County State's Attorney's Office announced.
