Petey Is SPCA Pet Of The Week Petey is seeking a forever home. The SPCA said Petey is a gentle, middle-aged terrier mix that gets along well with other dogs and really enjoys the company of people. He's super smart and already has a good handle on basic training and cues, according to the SPCA. Allouche-Gunning, who has lived in Yorktown with her family for two years, was recently diagnosed with Stage Four Ovarian Cancer. Pernicano found a lump in her neck during a hands-on lesson in a nursing class that she credits with saving her life.
