Credit Cards Stolen From Cars In Lower Saucon: Police (Video) Authorities in Lower Saucon Township are looking for a car burglar.  Police said the pictured suspect stole multiple credit cards from one vehicle and tried to enter others. It happened early Tuesday morning, May 14 on the 1700 block of Brad Lane, the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Obrienā€™s Court, the 1700 block of Deer Run Road, and the 1700 block of Hawthorne Road. Arrest Made In Pennsylvania Widow's 1989 Murder: Prosecutors More than 35 years after she was found murdered in her Coplay home, Lehigh County authorities say they have arrested Rose Josephine Hnath's killer.  Michael Breisch was arrested in Ohio this week, the District Attorney's Office said Thursday, May 16.  Hnath, 78, was found dead from stab wounds and blunt force trauma at her 2690 2nd Street home on Jan. 21, 1989. Family members discovered the scene after she failed to show up for her usual church service that morning, prosecutors said.  The home had been ransacked, and defensive wounds suggested she tried to fight off herā€¦

Bethlehem Police Officer Sexually Assaulted Student At School, Authorities Say A now-former Bethlehem school resource officer is accused of sexually assaulting a student at East Hills Middle School, authorities said in a release.  BPD said they were informed of a "possible inappropriate relationship" between Officer Costas Alestas and a 14-year-old EHMS student on May 1. PA Man Sends Minor 'Explicit Images' While On Bail For Child Porn Charges: Police A Penndel man who was out on bail for child pornography charges now faces an additional count, said the Lower Southampton police department.  Justin Refsnyder was originally charged in June 2023, authorities said in a release. After posting bond, police said they received a cybertip from Microsoft that he "had disseminated explicit images of himself to a minor" in March 2024.  Additional charges were filed on May 8 and his formal arraignment is scheduled for June 7, according to police and court records.
